I want to make pretty shit that doesn't hurt the planet.
Have you noticed those logos at the bottom of my site? I am really proud of them. I work really hard at ensuring my business and life choices align with my sustainable goals. It can be hard watching other makers and creative businesses selling products and having great success, with out a thought for the impact on the planet. Classic profit of planet thinking. That works for a buck and don't get me wrong, I want to make money. I want my art on products. I want my products in people's hands and homes. But I will never do it at the expense of people or the planet. And that is why those logos mean so much to me. Those are awards and recognition for my efforts!
Each program has it's own qualifying items. From green business practices, commitment to transparency in supply chain, and the ability to provide proof of sustainable actions these programs help small businesses gain recognition and trust with consumers.
