What makes Second Nature Studio products unique? All of my products are thoughtfully designed and made with sustainability in mind. The prints feature my original artwork, and hand-dyed items are colored with plants grown in my garden. Each piece is one of a kind and created with care.
-
How should I care for your products?Hand-Dyed Items: Wash in cold water, separately for the first few washes, as some dye may transfer. Use natural detergents, and keep out of direct sunlight to preserve color. Reusable Paper Towels: Wash by hand, on the top rack of the dishwasher, or in the washing machine. Squeeze and lay flat to dry. Compost them when they’ve reached the end of their useful life.
-
Do you offer gift wrap or gift cards?Yes! I offer gift wrap services featuring my original wrapping paper designs and reusable furoshiki wraps. I can also include a handwritten note—just let me know at checkout. If you are looking for a gift card please email me.
-
How can I contact you if I have questions or concerns?Email . I’ll be happy to help with any questions, concerns, or custom requests.
-
What are your most popular items? Many of my items are small-batch, which means they’re produced in limited quantities and may not be restocked. Some customer favorites include: Kayak linen napkins Hand-dyed 4-bottle tote Reusable Paper Towels (available for one-time purchase or as a subscription)

How do you ensure sustainability?I thoroughly research and vet my vendors to ensure they meet my standards for equity, resource consumption, and circularity. My products are made with natural materials, and all packaging is recyclable or compostable. I also give back through programs like One Tree Planted and Climate Action. Occasionally, recyclable plastic bubble mailers are used when necessary, but that’s the only exception.
