Why Accountability Matters
Accountability is more than meeting deadlines; it's about taking responsibility for your actions. It builds trust, fosters community, and drives continuous improvement. By holding ourselves accountable, we set high standards for excellence and integrity.
As an artist and business owner, accountability keeps me motivated and on track. I used to set monthly goals and feel frustrated when I didn’t meet them. I realized I work best with weekly goals: one challenging task and two that move my business forward. Sharing these with my accountability group has boosted my productivity and kept me focused.
For instance, setting a goal to introduce organic linen napkins this year was made easier with the support and feedback from my accountability group.
What’s one area in your business where you want to be more accountable? Share your goal in the comments below, and let's support each other in making progress!
Sustainable Tip of the Month
Incorporate a "Sustainability Check-In" into your weekly routine. A few minutes each week can lead to significant positive changes over time.
